Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements.

In the event that Pregnancy Help Australia becomes aware of a security breach that has resulted or may result in unauthorized access, use or disclosure of personal information, Pregnancy Help Australia will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

At this time we may not respond to browser 'Do Not Track' signals, as we await the work of others to develop standards for how such signals should be interpreted.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, this privacy policy will be revised.

REFUND POLICY AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Membership

Memberships can be cancelled at any time. Membership fees are normally non-refundable, but if you have made an error in your membership selection or change your mind about joining Pregnancy Help Australia, please email us at admin@pregnancyhelpaustralia.org.au

 

Donations

Due to the nature of charity donations, refunds are given at the discretion of our management. Please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to give. If an incorrect amount is entered, or if the donation is made accidentally or there is a highly unusual circumstance, please email us at admin@pregnancyhelpaustralia.org.au. We will review the request and respond. We will refund if there was a system error with the donation processing. If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer truthful so it should be shredded and destroyed.

 

Events and Tickets

The following terms and conditions will help all patrons to enjoy the event that tickets have been purchased for. Tickets entitle the holder to attend the event at the date, time and location stated on the front of the ticket and/or selected at the time of purchase through official sales channels. By purchasing a ticket the buyer and/or the holder agrees to the following:

  1. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that all details are correct at the time of purchase especially the event name, date, time and location. The ticket may not be exchanged, refunded or returned except in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
  2. Tickets purchased from third party resale sites may not gain you entry to an event, as we cannot guarantee that the ticket/s will be valid
  3. The right is reserved to vary the advertised program and add, withdraw, or substitute artists and content.
  4. The right of admission is reserved, including where entry is delayed for late arrivals, refused, or a customer is asked to leave the premises.
  5. Food and alcohol not purchased at the venue will be refused entry.
  6. The recording of an event using any device is prohibited unless otherwise advised.

The above terms and conditions are consistent with Australian consumer law, the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice, and their Safe Tix Guide. The right is reserved to vary these terms and conditions and updates may be made available via www.pregnancyhelpaustralia.org.au. Ticket prices are correct at the time of quotation or publication but are subject to change at the discretion of management. Single ticket prices may be dynamically adjusted, without notice, dependent upon market demand.
